The award winning Great Orme Country Park and Local Nature Reserve is renowned for its wildlife and history. A Site of Special Scientific Interest for its wildflowers and geology, the Great Orme is also of European importance.
The Country Park Visitor Centre situated at the summit of the Great Orme (next to the tram station and Summit Complex) offers a fascinating insight into the natural history and human history of the headland.
The Great Orme is presented through a video introduction, interactive exhibits and a live camera link to nesting seabirds on the cliffs. There are numerous way-marked walks around the headland for you to explore. Free admission and a wildlife gift shop make this a venue not to be missed.
